These grapes were harvested from the Gabrielow vineyards, a small farm near the shores of South Haven, just a short drive from our estate.  This is a barrel-aged Chardonnay with balance and finesse.  Lovely floral aromatics and hints of a yeasty baguette mingle with the crisp flavors of apples, pears and citrus.  Rounded and lush in your mouth waiting to sit down to a plate of summer perch or walleye pan-fried in lemon butter and a cob of fresh picked corn.  The change of seasons will find it companionable with winter squashes, roasted brussel sprouts, poultry and pasta.
